CNR wins Thailand’s biggest-ever rail vehicle order

CNR has been awarded a contract by the State Railway of Thailand (SRT) for 115 metre-gauge passenger rail cars.

The order, which was described as the biggest rail vehicle procurement contract in Thailand’s history, is for stainless steel rail cars, including first-class sleepers, second-class sleepers, power cars and dining cars.

The new vehicles will be fitted with air conditioning systems and lifts for disabled passengers.
