The operator is carrying out load testing and other routine trials before the vehicles are put into operation between Warsaw and Tricity, Krakow, Katowice and Wroclaw on December 14.

Tickets will go on sale for the new service from November 15.

Alstom is supplying 20 trainsets to the operator. PKP has said it plans to have 18 seven-car trains available for the start of service at the end of the year.

During dynamic testing, Poland’s new intercity train broke both and the Pendolino record, reaching a top speed of 293 km\h.
