Signalling Solutions will reinforce its position as a world-class supplier of train control solutions at this year’s Railtex.
With a focus on the UK’s Traffic Management Centre market, the company will be launching its ICONIS integrated control centre system.
A working version will be in the middle of the stand, demonstrating how ICONIS provides information, supervision and control of an entire rail network, ensures safe and efficient operation and allows train tracking, route and platform optimisation, auto route setting and continuous traffic monitoring.
Signalling Solutions will also show how ICONIS integrates SCADA, traffic control and management, passenger and management information systems, and communication control to optimise resource, service to passengers, capacity, timetables and maintenance costs.
The proven ATLAS solution for ERTMS will feature and the company’s representatives will discuss how it has been put into commercial operation, supervising more than 26 million miles, on more than 1,100 trains, more than 50 different types of train and has more than 25 million hours of fleet operation.
The INTEGR8 system of modular signalling will also be promoted.
This is a new concept in conventional signalling delivery that incorporates SMARTLOCK, the next generation of computer-based interlocking – the successor to SSI.
