Railcare has signed a strategic agreement with Bridgeway Consulting Ltd regarding the operation of Railcare’s Railvac air & vacuum excavation machines in the UK.
The cooperation agreement is valid until 2014, with the option for a further extension.
Swedish companies Railcare and DISAB Vacuum Technology AB have been active in the UK railway market since 2006, marketing Railvac machines to local railway maintenance, enhancement and renewal companies.
At the end of 2010, Railcare announced investments in marketing projects and a RA7-UK Railvac machine, especially designed for the UK railway.
“The UK market can benefit substantially from the Railcare methods within railway maintenance, enhancement and renewal. The methods are developed in cooperation with the Swedish railway administration over many years,” says Railcare Export AB’s MD Håkan Johansson.
