Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet (NKM), one of the candidates hoping to become the new mayor of Paris, has presented her plans to redevelop the city’s abandoned metro stations.

Ahead of the municipal elections next month, NKM has released several images showing some of Paris Métro’s 11 ‘ghost stations’ re-imagined as new tourist and leisure destinations.

The images show different stations regenerated as a swimming pool, a bar and a club.

NKM said that she has been in contact with RATP and the Paris Fire Brigade to develop the project, which she has pledged to pursue if elected.
