Network Rail should consider planning and building a brand new railway line for Crosscountry and FGW Intercity trains heading from Exeter St. Davis towards Cornwall and also towards Birmingham New Street and London Paddington. Network rail should plan to build a brand new railway link so that the former railway line would be used as a bridle coastal footpath linking Dawlish Warren and Dawlish Town Centre as a brand new railway line to be built away from the sea with a new train station to serve Dawlish.
