Bombardier’s São Paulo monorail project has been awarded the Intermodal Innovation award for Latin America 60th UITP World Congress and Mobility & City Transport Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland.
São Paulo Metro Line 15 is a 24km system in the east of Brazil’s largest city.
The monorail is due to open in 2016, significantly reducing travel times between the city’s Vila Prudente and Cidade Tiradentes areas.
