On Sunday 17 April, Docklands Light Railway services will be modified to meet passenger demand during the Virgin London Marathon, with trains as frequent as every 2 minutes and longer three-carriage trains operating on our busiest routes.

Services from Tower Gateway and Lewisham will start earlier than usual at approximately 05.30hrs.

Travel will be free on the DLR for all runners and officials from early morning until 17.00hrs on race day. Just show your official Virgin London Marathon tabard or race number.

Services will be modified on remaining routes with trains to/from Beckton/Woolwich Arsenal operating at a 7 minute frequency and terminating at Poplar. Services will return to a normal Sunday service from 16.00hrs.

Between Wednesday 13 and Saturday 16 April some services will be modified during the London Expo event at ExCeL London.
