In a drive to engage more with its customers First Capital Connect held a Meet the Manager session on Tuesday at Stevenage Station.

FCC Managers and representatives from Network Rail were at the ticket office at 16:30 – 19:00 to meet passengers and ask if they had any questions or concerns.

A wide range of topics were raised, including car park operations, capacity on peak time services, and gate lines.

FCC’s Crime Prevention Manager, Tony Holland, was also on hand with officers from the British Transport Police talking to customers and advising them on how to secure their belongings and their vehicles.

Flyers were also distributed urging people to stay vigilant and to report anything suspicious.

Keith Jipps, FCC’s Head of Customer Services, said:

“We want FCC to continually work to improve our understanding of customers’ needs and I believe customers like to see us come to them for their thoughts and suggestions.

“This week’s Meet the Manager session went really well, with lots of positive feedback, and I look forward to the next event.”
