Chiltern Railways, the train company who run services from Wembley Stadium station, are getting in the mood for the big Champions League final on Saturday 28 May when Manchester United play Barcelona by making their announcements on the day in English, Spanish and Catalan.
Driver Juan Rebollo, who is originally from Spain, will be making the announcements at Marylebone station and entertaining fans before the big game on Saturday from 1600 – 1930.
Chad Collins, General Manager South at Chiltern Railways said:
“We’re the best way to get to Wembley, as Wembley Stadium station is located opposite the stadium, so we’re kick starting the celebrations right from the moment you make your way to Wembley by being the only Spanish speaking London station.”
If you’re taking the train from London Marylebone, it is £6.00 for an off peak day return to Wembley stadium station and it takes approx 9 minutes.
The company will put on additional services to their normal timetable to accommodate extra passengers.
