Sunday 4 September travel advisory: London Marylebone closed until 11AM

Due to planned engineering works, London Marylebone station will be closed on Sunday 4 September until approximately 11:00AM. 

During this period, an amended timetable will be in operation, and Chiltern Railways trains will only operate north of West Ruislip and Amersham. Connecting London Underground services should be used as follows:

  • Marylebone – Oxford Circus – Northolt – South Ruislip – West Ruislip.
  • Marylebone – Baker Street – Harrow On The Hill – Rickmansworth – Chorleywood – Chalfont & Latimer – Amersham.

Some journeys will take considerably longer than usual, and may involve travel via alternative routes, on other operator’s services and/or rail replacement bus services.

First through trains to Marylebone on Sunday 4 September:

  • 08.47 Birmingham Moor Street – Marylebone.
  • 09.33 Aylesbury – Marylebone (via High Wycombe).
  • 09.41 Oxford – Marylebone.
  • 10.15 Aylesbury Vale Parkway – Marylebone (via Amersham).

First through trains from Marylebone on Sunday 4 September:

  • 11.00 Marylebone – Birmingham Moor Street.
  • 11.12 Marylebone – Oxford.
  • 11.53 Marylebone – Aylesbury (via High Wycombe).
  • 11.57 Marylebone – Aylesbury Vale Parkway (via Amersham).
