The collapse of a rail bridge spanning the Colorado River in Texas has been filmed by firefighters tackling a huge blaze on the crossing.

A fire broke out on the bridge, which connects San Saba and Lometa, on May 19.

Firefighters initially attempted to put out the flames but were forced to let it burn itself out when it became too dangerous to get close to the bridge.

The following day, the structure dramatically collapsed, toppling over like a row of dominoes.
