Flytoget, the operator of rail services to Oslo Airport, has placed a €120 million order with CAF for a fleet of new high-speed Oaris trains.

CAF will supply eight four-car trains to Flytoget, which operates the Airport Express service between the city’s Central Station and as far west as Drammen.

The Oaris is capable of operating speeds of 350 km/h.

The first new trains will go into service in 2018. As well as the trains, the contract includes spare parts and associated technical support.
