Last tram of new fleet arrives in Krakow

Bombardier has delivered the final tram to Krakow as part of the city’s latest order from the rolling stock manufacturer.

Krakow Transport Authority MPK Krakow has ordered 74 light rail vehicles from Bombardier since 1998.

In 2010, MPK Krakow placed the latest order for 24 trams.

Germar Wacker, president of light rail vehicles at Bombardier Transportation, said: “I would like to thank MPK for a partnership based on mutual trust and respect and am very proud to hand over yet another state-of-the-art tram offering passenger comfort and accessibility as well as optimized energy consumption, maintenance and overall lifecycle costs.”
