Greater Avignon places Alstom tram order

Alstom has won an order for 24 Citadis trams for the Greater Avignon Metropolitan Area.

The 45 million euro contract covers the delivery of a fleet of new vehicles in spring 2016 for a proposed light rail network in the region.

Each vehicle will be 24 metres long and capable of carrying between 133 and 146 passengers.
