Listen to this article

Arup has been appointed as a consultant for the second Klang Valley MRT line in Malaysia.

The Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya Line (SSP Line) will connect the Sungai Buloh, Serdang and Putrajaya urban areas which surround Kuala Lumpur.

Arup will develop the reference design for the line’s 10 underground stations and the fitting out of the Tun Razak Exchange Station, which will link the SSP Line with the SBK MRT Line.

Arup will also help MRT Corp tender for the underground construction package.

The 52.2-kilometre line will be elevated for 38.7 kilometres and underground for 13.5 kilometres.
