Siemens has delivered the final Class 350 electric multiple unit (EMU) to Angel Trains destined for London Midland.
Angel trains has accepted the last of 10 Class 350/3 Desiro units for London Midland – part of a £131 million contract for 20 Class 350 EMUs.
All 20 four-car trains have now been delivered – 10 of which will run on electrified sections of the TransPennine Express network.
The first 350/4 sub class arrived at Siemens’ Ardwick depot on November 28. Over the course of the last nine months, Siemens has been delivering a unit every two weeks.
