The Bryansk Engineering Plant (a part of CJSC Transmashholding) has shipped 50 new 12-3090 universal open cars with unloading gates.

The customer, OJSC Uralelectromed, will receive 300 of these by the end of the year.

The open car is a new product for BMZ, designed and manufactured this year.

Some of the features of the freight carrier include a reinforced structure of the top cord, which prevents car body deformation during loading and unloading and panelling of sidewalls to reduce friction of cargo on the walls during unloading.

Fittings for the pipe slip joint of the breaking system and ‘tread guard asbestos-free brake pads’ are also included in the new cars.

The car is fully in compliance with requirements of OJSC Russian Railways.
