Vicat has awarded Europorte, the rail freight subsidiary of Groupe Eurotunnel, the contract to transport cement between its factory in Xeuilley, in Lorraine, and its depot at Chelles, to the East of Paris.
Since March, Europorte has reported a 100% reliable delivery service, due to its ‘outstanding traction performance.’
Europorte say they are “delighted to see its commitment to service quality, reliability and punctuality recognised by one of the biggest names in the industry. Europorte and Vicat have many common values, particularly in relation to the environment.”
This contract with Vicat means that Europorte has reached another stage of development in the construction materials sector where guaranteed delivery is a key factor.
