China Railway Corp has placed an order with a Bombardier/ CSR Sifang joint venture (BST) for 15 next generation high-speed trains.
The €339 million order, which will be delivered by sites in China and Europe, is for 15 eight-car CRH380D very high-speed trains.
The new CRH380D units, which have a maximum operating speed of 380 km/h, follow on from an earlier order which BST began delivering earlier this year.
