London Overground closures: 19th-27th February 2011

Due to Transport for London’s continuing maintenance work, some services will be affected within the coming weeks. Work is being undertaken to increase capacity with longer trains and increase train frequency. Stations are also being refurbished to include new facilities, longer platforms and CCTV equipment.

South West Trains have issued the following information regarding London Overground closures:

From Saturday 19 February to Sunday 27 February 2011 there will be a set of London Overground closures.

North London Line services:

There will be no London Overground services between Richmond & Camden Rd from Saturday 19 February to Sunday 27 February (Richmond to Stratford on Sunday 20 February). On Sat/Sun 19/20 February, there will also be no District Line services between Richmond and W Kensington.

South West Trains will be honouring London Underground paper single & return and Child Free travel Oyster Cards for travel between Richmond & Vauxhall/London Waterloo all day Sat/Sun 19/20 Feb.

West London Line services:

There will be no London Overground services between Clapham Junction and Willesden Jn on Saturday 19 & Sunday 20 February. From Monday 21 to Sunday 27 February, a reduced service will operate between Clapham Junction & Shepherds Bush and there will be no service between Shepherds Bush & Willesden Junction.
