Renfe will procure 30 new high-speed and 10 variable-gauge trains in the next four years, Spain’s Minister for Public Works Ana Pastor has announced.
Pastor made the statement at the InnoTrans trade fair in Berlin earlier this week.
As well as new trains, Pastor said that by 2018 the Spanish high-speed rail network will reach more people than ever before and be delivering its highest level of performance of the century.
