Peter Bimson promoted to project director at EKFB

HS2 main contractor EKFB, a joint venture of Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial and BAM, has appointed Peter Bimson as its new project director.

Peter, who previously held the roles of deputy project director and operations director for EKFB, has been appointed to the role as part of the board’s formal succession plan. 

In an addition move, Emmanuel Rossignol has been appointed to support in the role of deputy project director.

Commenting on his appointment, Peter Bimson said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to lead EKFB in delivering an 80km section of one of Europe’s largest civil engineering projects, HS2.

“With Emmanuel’s and the senior leadership team’s support, I am confident that our existing and new people will achieve on our mission, on construction milestones and on social value.

“Working on this project for the past three years, I am proud of the achievements we have made to date but am aware this is just the beginning and that we have a lot more ahead to deliver in 2021 and beyond.”
