In his new role at KAD Richard has responsibility for the strategic leadership of the KAD team and to ensure the DLR’s outstanding performance is sustained as part of Transport for London’s (TfL) integrated services. In addition, he will be collaborating with TfL to ensure the success of the planned delivery and introduction of new trains on the DLR in the coming years.

Prior to this Richard worked in the United States for Keolis’ heavy rail operation in Boston – Keolis Commuter Services – where he was vice president for strategy and performance from 2017 to 2019. Here he led major projects and change across the business, designing and implementing a significant turnaround project for the network.
Before joining Keolis, Richard spent ten years, in both the UK and US, as a consultant for Newton – an international business consultancy firm – leading projects and programmes across a variety of major businesses and organisations in the transport, infrastructure, and defence sectors.

I am proud to be leading a team who are so highly regarded and who continue to demonstrate a detailed focus on service excellence every day. I am determined that this will continue to be the hallmark for KAD as we move forward and am looking forward to continuing the successful collaboration with TfL, which has been instrumental in the success of the network to date.”
