Specialist Recruiter Coleman James continues to accelerate its growth in the Rail sector, amidst a series of new appointments to its Rail division.

The firm’s Doncaster office officially opened in January 2022, led by Head of Rail Josh Haggart. In May, Josh welcomed Jordan Ives-Stanbra as Associate Director alongside Rail Consultants Chantelle Morris and Mykell Beal and Rail Resourcer Lauren Marsh. Ryan Dawson also joined as Senior Consultant, working from the firm’s London base as it scales it’s team in the South to meet increasing demand.

In August Emily Morrell joined as a specialist Sentinel Coordinator at our Newcastle headquarters, whilst Ruta Ramoskaite adds additional support to the Doncaster office as a Rail Resourcer.

The recruits join the existing Rail team, including highly experienced Director Rachel Young, Senior Consultant Janine Kelly and Consultant Alisha Heddon, taking the number of Rail specialists to 11.

Coleman James partners with a range of SMEs and PLCs in the Rail industry, including AmcoGiffen (part of Renew Holdings PLC) and Buckingham Group Contracting Ltd. It recently signed an exclusive master vendor agreement to become the sole recruitment partner to national rail technology infrastructure company ADComms. The contract will see Coleman James recruit around 80 roles for the high-growth telecommunications firm, which works with rail and network firms including Transport for London.

Commenting on the growth of the Rail division, Founder and Managing Director, Andrew Mackay, said; “2022 has seen a huge step-change in the growth of our Rail division, with the opening of our Doncaster and London bases to service our growing number of partners in the rail sector, and the addition of eight rail recruitment specialists since January.

“A large part of our growth is down to the dedication and expertise of our people. All our senior rail team has worked exclusively in the sector for their entire career, so they know it inside out. That means that they understand the challenges and opportunities our customers face and can offer strategic advice to support the growth trajectory of our partners – who are all scaling at pace. Our teams technical expertise is unparalleled and that sets us apart, allowing us to attract and retain the right people at the right time.

“Our customers value our partnership approach and our focus on delivery, and this is fuelling our success. We invest heavily in team development and Coleman James is a place where everyone with the right attitude can thrive and be their best in a fun and welcoming environment. And it’s not only our Rail division where we are experiencing growth, our Construction and Facilities Management teams are also scaling and I am excited to see where we can take the business over the coming months and years.”
