The Rail Staff Christmas Carol Service returns on Thursday 15 December at St Mary’s Church, Somers Town, London.

The event brings the whole industry together and is sponsored by Porterbrook Leasing, the Rail Delivery Group, Network Rail, the Rail Freight Group, GBRTT, and RSSB. As in previous years, the service will be enriched by the wonderful voices of London’s Transport Choir, helping to make this the most joyous of celebrations.

The Transport Benevolent Fund CIO (TBF) has organised this much-loved event for over 20 years and it helps raise funds to enable TBF to continue its valuable work in supporting railway employees (and the wider public transport community) who find themselves in need.

TBF offers support to those working in public transport industry if they should find themselves in a situation of need, hardship, or distress. Members pay £1.25 a week (usually through their payroll facility), giving the member, their live in partner, and dependent children access to a wide range of health, welfare, and financial benefits.

The service is open to all, and will feature carols and readings, followed by seasonal refreshments. Everyone can be assured of a very warm welcome.

Collection proceeds will be donated to charity.
