Ahead of the Nordic World Ski Championships in Norway next month Invensys Rail has been testing out new interlocking systems on the Oslo Metro.
The King of Norway formally opened the remodelled Holmenkollen station, with the company’s WESTRACE system which controls the new six car trains that will run between the station and Oslo. City authorities estimate 300,000 spectators and competitors will use the metro system during the championships.
