Lausannoise adds to metro fleet

Listen to this article

Transports Publics de la Région Lausannoise SA has placed an order with Alstom to add three more rubber-tyred metro trainsets to its fleet.

The new two-car trains will go into service on line m2 from late 2017.

Built at Alstom’s Valenciennes site, the trains will be the same as the 15 units delivered to the Swiss city in October 2008.
