Alstom to supply more trams to Bordeaux

Bordeaux Métropole has ordered five more Citadis trams from Alstom.

Bordeaux has ordered 105 trams since 2000 for its 79-kilometre network.

The units will be fitted with the APS ground power supply system which operates in parts of the city.

The trams, which will be designed and assembled at La Rochelle, will be able to carry between 220 and 300 passengers.
