Hull Trains to use London St Pancras International during digital signalling upgrades

Listen to this article

Hull Trains services will run to and from London St Pancras International later this month, as engineering work takes place on a stretch of the East Coast Main Line north of King’s Cross.

Network Rail teams will be carrying out significant upgrades on the East Coast Main Line on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May as part of £1.4 billion East Coast Digital Programme (ECDP).

The operator typically uses London King’s Cross, but will be switching to the iconic London St Pancras International, which connects travellers with services to destinations such as Paris and Brussels, throughout both days.

Hull Trains has successfully deployed this approach in previous years to help keep customers on the move.
