Founded in 1986, ICONICS Inc, now a Mitsubishi Electric company, has been providing solutions to application challenges across the automotive, building automation, food & beverage, government infrastructure, manufacturing, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, renewable energy, utilities, and water/wastewater industries.

Establishing itself as a global brand in the SCADA market, ICONICS Inc has established a network of integration partners.

As result of growth across all of its business areas, SELLA CONTROLS has expanded its product integration options, particularly in the asset and building management arena. Recent project successes to supply rail based Building Management Systems (BMS) into its core client base identified ICONICS Suite as a platform.

Having been acquired by the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation in 2019, ICONICS Suite was introduced to SELLA Controls. Immediate project opportunities were identified and a joint pursuit established. Subsequently these projects have been successfully progressed to award with other major opportunities developing.

Chris Elliott, Business Development Director for Rail at SELLA CONTROLS commented; ā€œJoining the ICONICS SIP was a natural progression for the business having been part of the Mitsubishi Electric MSIP scheme and a close industry partner since 2007. This will provide us with access to specialist engineering services to assist with the delivery of new and existing projects.ā€

Elliott commented further; ā€œAll of our business areas are showing continued growth as a result of the project delivery successes. Having access to the ICONICS Suite packages, including GENSIS64Ā®  will provide us with a wider offering for rail applications, particularly those relating to tunnel, stations and infrastructure management.ā€

David Bean, Solutions Group Manager at Mitsubishi Electric Automation Systems Division in the UK commented; ā€œThe combination of ICONICS Suite and our automation hardware portfolio has given us a complete solution for areas such as Intelligent Building Management, Utility Situational Awareness and Asset Performance. It is fantastic news to extend our offering to one of our key systems integrators, Sella Controls, by bringing them on board as an ICONICS Suite SIP to explore opportunities in these markets.ā€
