Network Rail has released a timelapse video showing work being carried out to reinstate platforms 20-24 in the former Eurostar terminal at London Waterloo station as part of the Waterloo & South West Upgrade.

The footage was recorded last autumn and shows engineers demolishing the ends of platforms 21-24 to allow for alterations to the track layout on the approach to the station.

In August, the disused platforms will be brought back into service while platforms 1-4 are being extended.
