Dublin’s Luas light rail network has released footage online showing cyclists narrowly avoiding collisions with trams as part of a new bike safety campaign.
Transdev, which operates Luas services, and Transport Infrastructure hope the campaign will make cyclists in the city more aware of the risks that trams pose.
Although sections are shared with pedestrians and road traffic, dedicated ‘Tram Lanes’ account for 91 per cent of the Luas network.
