Stadler to supply Flirt EMUs for Dutch operators

Stadler is to manufacturer 16 Flirt EMUs for Syntus bv and Keolis in the Netherlands.

The contract, valued at €125 million, includes a mixture of nine three-car and seven four-car trains.

Based on the Flirt3 platform, the new trains will comply with 2014 TSI standards, Stadler has said.

Stadler will deliver the first vehicles in June 2017. The new units will operate the Zwolle–Kampen and Zwolle–Enschede services from December 2017.
