As we approach Halloween, the October half-term and Bonfire Night, Southeastern will be helping parents keep the family entertained.

From today customers will be able to get 20% off most off-peak tickets when bought online for travel between the 22 October and 6 November.

The discounts follow on from successful promotions in the Spring and Summer when over 20,000 passengers took advantage of similar deals.

Parents will also be able to take advantage of excellent 2FOR1 deals on attractions in London, such taking the kids to Madame Tussauds or the London Dungeon has never been easier.

Alternatively, parents can take advantage of the attractions in Kent, for example take the family to the famous Battle fireworks display for bonfire night or take the family to Canterbury for the day.

A Southeastern spokesman said:

“We have had a lot of positive reaction to the discounts we have promoted during the year and it makes sense that with the half-term coming up we try and help families keep the family entertained.

“Kent has so much to offer and we want to encourage people to come into the county and see the great attractions on offer.”

Discounted tickets can be purchased now online for travel from 22 October to 6 November within Kent or East Sussex or for trips to and from London.

Tickets can be collected from your local station via automatic ticket machines or posted to you in advance.

And to help add to the savings, all railcards can be used as well, so you can get up to an extra third off the discounted tickets.
