Listen to this article

Siemens has successfully carried out a series of static and dynamic tests on the first three of 15 Vectron locomotives it is building for PKP Cargo.

PKP Cargo is investing in its fleet of multi-system locomotives for its expanding range of international services.

Having completed testing in Munich, units 501, 502 and 503 will now be transported to Poland. They are due to arrive by the end of January where they will then undergo final acceptance tests.

Three more locomotives will be delivered in February, with the final unit expected in the first half of 2017.
