LU pay offer rejected by unions

An interim offer has been put to ASLEF’s negotiators by London Underground which the union says does not meet the expectations or recognise the value of its members.

The offer includes proposals for a three-year pay deal.

“Further meetings have been arranged for the coming weeks,”‘ said the union’s general secretary Keith Norman.

“I sincerely hope they will be more fruitful as the current offer does not even match the rate of inflation.”

The RMT union has also said the offer is ‘disappointing.’
