Sheffield-based rail technology specialist 3Squared has announced the appointment of John Hickling as Client Partnership Director, a new role created as the company continues to expand.
He will support 3Squared’s clients, including Network Rail, East Midlands Railway and GB Railfreight, to guide them through nuances of using the firm’s innovative Railsmart suite of tools. At the same time, he will also actively engage with clients to ensure that new product feature requests can be acted on by the rest of 3Squared’s team and will help the company deliver client onboarding and eLearning, for new and existing RailSmart customers.
John, who will work at 3Squared on a part-time basis, joins 3Squared from train building giant Bombardier Transportation – another of 3Squared’s clients – where he most recently held the position of Learning Development Manager. His appointment comes as 3Squared experienced tremendous growth in 2019 and signed several lucrative contracts. 2020 is set to continue to the growth trend with the firm recently moving into a new and larger office, following a £250,000 investment into the new office space.
