The full delivery was expected by September, meaning the order has been completed six months ahead of schedule.

Burmese transport minister Thant Sin Maung said that he hoped the two countries could build on their cooperation and aimed to accept an offer from Indian Railways for signalling and telecommunication training.

A statement on Indian Railways’ website said that the two countries have been cooperating in the rail sector for more than 20 years.
