Go-Ahead contracts TMHI to maintain its new trains in Bavaria

Go-Ahead Bavaria, which has been commissioned by the BEG and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Transport to operate regional train transport from December 2021 to December 2034 in southern Bavaria and in neighbouring Baden-Württemberg, has reached an agreement with rail solutions company TMH International (TMHI) for the maintenance of its new trains.

Based in the Swiss city of Zug, TMHI is a subsidiary of the Russian TMH (Transmash Holdings) group.

Go-Ahead is purchasing 78 new trains for its service. TMH International will take over the maintenance of these trains and will build a train maintenance facility in Langweid bei Augsburg for this purpose.
