Designs for St Denis Pleyel station, one of the new stations being built along a northern extension of Paris Metro’s Line 14, have been released by architect Kengo Kuma.
The €208 million, underground station will connect Line 14 with three of the four new lines – 15, 16 and 17 – that will make up the future Grand Paris Express network.
Work is expected to begin on site in 2017 and is scheduled for completion in 2023.
Around 250,000 passengers are expected to use St Denis Pleyel once open. In total, 68 new stations will be built as part of the Grand Paris Express Project.
