BBC Radio 4 to run Railway Children appeal

BBC Radio 4 is broadcasting a special programme on Sunday to help raise money for children’s charity Railway Children.

Ian Hislop, star of Have I Got News for You and editor of Private Eye, will be presenting the fundraising appeal on behalf of the charity, which supports vulnerable children around the world from exploitation and abuse.

Throughout the programme, Ian will share his experiences of India and talk about the dangers facing thousands of children living at railway station platforms across the country.

To listen, tune in on Sunday, September 2, at 7.55 am and 9.26pm or Thursday, September 6, 3.27pm.
