Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has ordered 25 Metropolis trainsets for the Kochi Metro project.
Alstom will design, manufacture, test and commission the new three-car trains from its Sricity factory in Andhra Pradesh, India.
The €85 million fleet will be delivered from early 2016 and put into service on the city’s new elevated 25.6-kilometre metro network.
The contract includes an option for 25 more sets.
