Alpha Trains Luxembourg has ordered six new multi-system Vectron locomotives for German freight company TX Logistik AG.
The order includes servicing and maintenance of the units, plus an option for four more locomotives.
Alpha Trains will lease the new locomotives directly to TX Logistik AG to operate cross-border services between Germany, Austria and Italy.
Deliveries will begin from Siemens’ Munich-Allach factory early next year.
