Additional Citadis trams for Bordeaux

Bordeaux has confirmed with Alstom an order for 10 more Citadis trams.

The city has the largest fleet of Citadis trams in France, 115. The new trams are due to enter service in 2018.

Like the current fleet, the new units will have Alstom’s APS system, allowing them to operate without overhead catenary.

The order has been valued €28 million.
