Less than six months after it was launched, 360 Rail Services has announced it has acquired Railroad Specialties.

360 Rail Services, which is based in Englewood, Colorado, USA, was established by industry veterans Larry Stockton and Robert Olin in April, 2017.

It provides engineering, design, construction, maintenance, logistics and transloading services to the railway industry and expands its portfolio with the new acquisition.

Railroad Specialities, based in the City of Centennial, Colorado, is involved with the design, construction, maintenance and repair of rail lines.

360 Rail Services CEO Larry Stockton – who has more than 20 years’ experience in the railroad industry – said: “This acquisition is critical for our company as we continue to expand our footprint in the rail industry.

“Railroad Specialties has completed many infrastructure projects in the Rocky Mountain region and elsewhere.

“Their team has more than 100 years of management industry experience and this acquisition of RSI’s assets, projects and employees will bring valuable expertise to our operations in Colorado and beyond.”

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
