25 killed in Burma train fire

At least 25 people are thought to have died after a train carrying petrol burst into flames in north-west Burma.

The train was travelling between Mandalay and Myiktyina in the north, when it crashed near Kanbalu, in the Sagaing Division.

Many of the people killed are thought to have been locals who gathered around the train after it came off the line, the Burma Ministry of Information has said.
