The train operator is seeking feedback through an online survey running from today (Monday, 7 October) until Sunday, 20 October 2024.
The short survey asks customers for their views on how ScotRail managed its rail replacement service during Network Rail’s recent closures along the line – part of the East Kilbride Enhancement Project.
ScotRail is keen to understand how customers found its rail replacement service during the improvement works, whether they travelled by rail services on nearby lines, and their views on the availability of seats on board during the works.
The train operator will use the feedback to shape how it manages alternative transport arrangements for customers during any future improvement works along the route.
The survey can be accessed here.
Scott Prentice, ScotRail Strategy & Planning Director, said:
“We’re keen to hear what the communities we serve along the East Kilbride line think about how ScotRail performed in providing a replacement service, and in keeping disruption to a minimum, during the recent East Kilbride Enhancement Project works.
“We understand that our customers would rather not have any disruption to their journey, however it is important that when improvement works take place, we aim to provide a service that meets their needs.
“Every response we get will help us shape how we manage any future works along the route.”
