Helen Fisher, Virgin Trains Information Manager (Birmingham), is running the marathon for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.
She explains what good support on race-day means to her: “It is said that you run the first 20 miles yourself and the crowd gets you through the last six miles. The fact that Virgin Trains is playing its part in getting supporters up to London is very much appreciated.”
