Specialist Built Environment and Rail Recruiter Coleman James, headquartered in Newcastle, with offices in Doncaster and London, has been appointed as the exclusive recruitment partner to transport technology solutions and services firm, ADComms.

The three-year deal, which sees Coleman James appointed through a Master Vendor agreement, follows a period of rapid growth for ADComms across its Scunthorpe, Liverpool and London operations. The company, owned by private equity firm Mutares, delivers major technology infrastructure projects focused on telecommunications for rail and network operators across the UK.

Coleman James has quickly immersed itself in the business, creating a holistic recruitment strategy that supports the wider business needs and goals. It now exclusively delivers a fully integrated and managed recruitment service, including employee attraction and retention, onboarding and employer branding.

The expert team of rail consultants will recruit for the full spectrum of roles, from graduate engineers to senior management positions. It aims to fill 80 roles across the UK for the rapidly growing rail technology infrastructure business within the next 12 months.

Speaking of the partnership, Coleman James Director, Rachel Young, said; “We are delighted to bring our unique brand of specialist consultancy to ADComms at a pivotal time in its growth journey. It’s a privilege to partner with such an ambitious and dynamic team and we are very much looking forward to supporting their plans over the coming months and years.

“The focus of our expert consultants on every project is to bring strategic thinking, unparalleled industry insight, quality service and added value. We aim to raise the bar when it comes to recruitment and our clients choose us not only for our ability to attract and retain the very best talent to their business but also because they know their employer brand will be cared for and enhanced in our hands. In turn making them an employer of choice and strengthening their proposition within an often competitive marketplace.”

Coleman James has built a solid reputation for its expertise within the rail industry, lead by Rachel Young alongside Director of Rail, Josh Haggart, who oversees the firm’s newly opened Doncaster operation.

Commenting on the collaboration with Coleman James, Austin Wallace, CEO at ADComms, said; “Coleman James is our partner of choice for many reasons. They came highly recommended and having worked with the senior team for the past 12 months we were hugely impressed with their knowledge, ability and tailored approach. They offer dynamic thinking and quickly got to grips with our business, aligning their recruitment strategy with our wider business needs and goals.

“We have every confidence that placing our entire recruitment operation with Coleman James will have great benefits to our company. In them, we have an expert partner that will help build and deliver our recruitment strategy, enhance our reputation in the marketplace and attract and retain the best engineers in the business, right across the board. Leaving our senior management team to concentrate on growing our business and delivering critical infrastructure projects for our customers, including Transport for London and Cellnex UK.”
